• Channel 19 (Adelphia Cable only)
• PTSD Web Site (www.ptsd.k12.pa.us)
• KDKA-TV (Channel 2)
• WTAE-TV (Channel 4)
• WPXI-TV (Channel 11)

You can also subscribe to e-mail news through the district web site at www.ptsd.k12.pa.us

How schools make cancellation decisions
When bad weather strikes, the Superintendent contacts our Supervisor of Buildings, Grounds and Transportation to get updates on road conditions. Our Supervisor is, in turn, in contact with local police and road crews who pass along updates to the district.

The Superintendent then makes a decision on whether to close or delay school based on that information. The district makes every effort to reach its decision to delay or cancel by 6 a.m. before buses start out for their first run (High School students).

For more information, please contact Cara Zanella, Communications Coordinator at 724-941-6251, ext. 7205.

Electronic report cards
Formal paper report cards will continue to be issued at year-end and mailed to all parents. However, after this next report card period, quarterly paper cards will only be available upon request by calling the high school operator. Parents are asked to go to www.edline.net for electronic up-to-date grades on their students

Student paper online
Peters Townships’ student newspaper is now available online at: www.ptsd.k12.pa.us/pths/PTHS_smokesignals/index.htm
