Function at the Junction

Help celebrate the completion of the Montour-Panhandle Connector Trail and the Primrose-Joffre section of the Panhandle trail, two new rails-to-trails segments in Washington County. Women’s Business Network Meeting

The McMurray Chapter of the Women’s Business Network will meet on Wednesday, June 13 at 8:15 a.m. at Panera Bread located in Trinity Point Plaza in Washington. Meetings are held twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. The meeting is open to area women business owners and those in sales seeking networking opportunities with other business women. Meeting agendas include self-marketing, a business presentation by an individual member, a table topic discussion and networking. St. Patrick Parish Summer Festival

St. Patrick’s Parish in Canonsburg is holding its Summer Festival at the church on 317 West Pike Street nightly from 5-11 p.m. Entertainment on outdoor stage includes Button Box Band on Thursday, The Basements on Friday and The Four Townsmen on Saturday. Nightly raffles, games of chance, Kiddie Korner, local celebrity mascots,  inflatables and rides, book sale, bake sale, nightly dinners, Chinese auctions and fun for the whole family!

The Hilton Garden Inn, Pittsburgh/Southpointe has named Donald Bell as Executive Chef. Mr. Bell, a graduate of Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, has a long and successful history as a culinary professional for local restaurants, hotels and Country Clubs. Prior to joining the Hilton, Bell spent 18 years as Executive Chef with the Holiday Inn, Greentree.
